Not only do they offer a selection of coffee drinks and pastries inside their shop, but they also deliver. Archives serves the standard spectrum of coffee drinks you’d expect in any coffee shop. It also features specialty drinks such as the London Fog, Bianco Caramello Latte, Almond Crisp Latte, and “The Miel,” which is crafted with honey, cinnamon, espresso, and steamed milk.

Join Archives Coffee House for brunch, breakfast, or lunch. Their morning offerings include bagels, oatmeal, caramel rolls, cookies, muffins, and more. Order from their lunch menu, which features pulled pork, bacon grilled cheese, a veggie wrap, and melty flatbread sandwiches, just to name a few items. Their French toast, available during brunch, is stuffed with fresh fruit and cream cheese and gets rave reviews.

If you just can’t get enough of Archives Coffee, sign up for a subscription. There are four levels of membership, all offering great deals on coffee, tea, and baked goods delivered right to your door. Visit them Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., at 3012 University Avenue in Grand Forks.

Bully Brew Coffee

This unique coffee shop’s name is inspired by the owner’s pet bulldog. They serve customers in-house at their four locations in Grand Forks and also supply local restaurants, businesses, and e-commerce customers with their own blends of fresh-roasted coffee beans.

Bully Brew serves traditional coffee drinks such as cafe breve, latte, mocha, and caramel macchiato. You can also order an espresso shake, steamer, and cold brew coffee either on tap or in cans. For their specialty drinks, you’ll need to ask a barista for a current list, as it changes frequently.

If you want breakfast with your coffee, Bully Brew features a selection of breakfast bagel sandwiches such as The Elvis, which is made with sausage, bacon, pepper jack, egg, and chipotle sauce. Try The Bandit if you prefer something simpler; it has bacon, egg, and cheddar. You can also order plain, everything, or jalapeño cheddar bagels or, for a low-carb treat, try the breakfast bowl.

After you’ve fallen in love with Bully Brew coffee, you can share the love by wearing one of their clever tees or carrying your stuff in a logo tote bag. Bully Brew even has a smartphone app so their customers can order ahead. Occasionally they even offer tours and educational events at their coffee bean roastery. Check Bully Brew’s website for a list of their locations and their operating hours.

Dunn Brothers Coffee

This coffee shop is part of a chain with several franchise locations throughout the Midwest. Even so, their mission is to support their local communities. They do this by donating to local food pantries and creating a welcoming atmosphere. They roast their coffee beans on-site in small batches every day, and according to the website, you’ll never be served coffee from beans that are more than five days old.

Along with the usual coffee favorites, Dunn Brothers serves specialties such as caramelized almond latte and raspberry white mocha. Their “Infinite Black” cold press coffee is slow-brewed for a bold, extra-caffeinated kick. Flavors include Chocolate Steamed Nirvana and Cinnamon Roll Nirvana, among others. They also serve various icy flavors of frappe. If you’re not fond of coffee, they’ve got you covered with various flavors of tea and fruit smoothies.

Visit Dunn Brothers for breakfast and lunch, and order an egg sandwich created any way you like it with a variety of breads and meats, including plant-based sausage. They sell a selection of bakery treats, oatmeal, and sandwiches on a ciabatta roll. They are located right down the road from Rydell Honda of Grand Forks, at 4571 S. Washington Street, Suite A. The coffee shop is open every day from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Urban Stampede

Located in downtown Grand Forks, Urban Stampede is devoted to serving responsibly sourced coffee to its community. In fact, they claim to be the oldest coffee shop in the state of North Dakota. They offer the usual selection of coffee drinks, including drip coffee, espresso, pour-over, and cappuccino. You can also order “not coffee” from their menu: Masala chai, Italian soda, hot chocolate, and lemonade. The Urban Stampede menu also features seasonal drink creations such as Pistachio Matcha, Golden Milk, featuring turmeric, and the “Flower Power” containing chai, hibiscus, rose, and oat milk. Check in to see what’s in season!

This coffee shop offers bagels, scones, muffins, and turnovers to round out your morning meal or afternoon snack. You can also buy bags of coffee to make at home and show everyone how much you love this shop by purchasing mugs or “Urby Gurby” T-shirts.

For the ultimate convenience, you can use their new smartphone app, available for both Apple and Android phones. You can also order your goodies directly on their website for curbside pickup. Urban Stampede is located at 324 Kittson Avenue in Grand Forks and is open every day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
